『舞妓のお作法』 (Maiko Etiquette)

Ichimame-san ha pubblicato un libro in cui racconta la propria vita da maiko e descrive la rigida etichetta che deve apprendere e applicare quotidianamente.
Il titolo del volume è: 『舞妓のお作法』 (Maiko Etiquette).
Anche la geiko Komomo ha appena concesso il suo volto a una affascinante copertina!
Naoyuki Ogino ha avuto l’onore di velare e svelare la sua anima in 130 originali fotografie…
Mentre Ichimame appartiene al distretto di Kamishichiken, Komomo invece è dell’okiya Kaden nell’hanamachi di Miyagawa-cho.

to reading it, and I will be sure to add it to my online bibliography
when I redo the GEISHA page on my website soon.
Komomo’s story is certainly beautifully told in this book. I’ll definitely include it in the reference page I’m working on for when I put up the new geisha page on my website.
